Need-To-Know

Mind’itiative [Mine-dish-ativ] aims to proliferate relevant knowledge and awareness, and to synchronize observations and understandings of our world, in hopes of illustrating various global patterns.

Despite truth being limitless in its range, the problem still is that many people are not aware of the crucial things going on in our world, and as a result of that, constantly compounding misunderstandings are distorting and disassembling our constantly interconnecting systems. Systems as in the political, economical, social, cultural, environmental, scientific and all other facets of the globe’s nations that internationally intertwine continuously at a scale beyond average understandings. There are people who don’t know and don’t want to know, so they’re probably done with, and there are people who want to know but corporate, lobbyist, and entertainment-influenced so-called news sources provide them with silly leisure-twisted reports that only increase the depth of shallowness. So what’s happening here is that the roots that are connecting our world by the second are composed of evil, discriminate and selfish aims, lies, corruption, civilian obliviousness and ignorance, and trash in general. Alas soul-drenching nonsense is shoved at our senses everyday, and more unfortunately we can do nothing about it but try to balance the tip with non-nonsense that can at least bring about motivation for initiatives. All initiatives start from the mind, and by feeding the mind with the necessary and informative as opposed to the superficial and ridiculous, our collective initiatives can perhaps break apart those deadly roots that fuel the information that heavily influences our everyday lives. The Mind’itiative team runs this daily “nonsense-cleansing operation” by scouring the web for the most relevant information and organizing the findings into a single, broader perspective that would bring new light to the issues at hand. Those perspectives are defined by the bits and pieces that compose the daily highlight and are part of a larger trend that should be observed by all of us, as the affiliated past, present and future occurrences will always have important consequences. We also peruse the web for some neat stuff every now and then to keep that second part of the balance balanced. The Mind’itiative’s efforts hope to potentially redefine the concept of news and information delivery. After all, we need to know.

Under the ‘Mindit’ page, users are able to create accounts and participate in frequent “social news” discussions. The bi-monthly question will address urgent issues in hopes of generating valuable input. Users can submit various answers and in effect get rated on the quality of their viewpoints. Thumbs up or thumbs down determines the most valuable opinions from the users’ perspectives.

COMING SOON: Semi-Annual Reports
We are currently in the process of compiling semi-annual reports that depict and analyze negative and positive global patterns in hopes of highlighting breakthroughs, and pinpointing and resolving issues. The first one will be published before year end.
